• Flexible Timings: The pick-up and drop-off times listed are approximate. Actual transfer times may vary by 30 to 60 minutes due to traffic conditions, route scheduling, and your location.

• Private Transport: Private transportation arrangements can be organized for all tours upon request.

• Strollers: If you plan to bring a stroller, you must inform us at the time of reservation, as space inside the vehicles is limited.

Attire & Safety Advice

• Seasonal Clothing: While summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, please note that sweaters or jackets may be necessary during the winter months.

• Sun Safety: We strongly advise bringing good quality sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat when exposed to direct sunlight.

• Water Activity Supervision: For safety during any water activities, children aged 3 to 12 years must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Local Regulations & Conduct

• Holiday Restrictions: On Islamic occasions and National holidays, tours will not serve alcohol and there will be no live entertainment, in adherence to government guidelines.

• Inclusions Closure: We do not hold responsibility if certain mentioned inclusions remain closed on weekends or specific days as dictated by government norms.

• Photography Rules: Photography of UAE residents (especially ladies), military institutions, government buildings, and installations is strictly prohibited.

• Conduct: Littering is a punishable offense and offenders may face penalties. Smoking is not allowed inside public areas.

Documentation & Contract

• Mandatory ID: Some tours require your original passport or Emirates ID. This is mentioned in the important notes for the specific tour; it is mandatory to read this information. We are not responsible if you miss a tour where valid ID is required.

• Contractual Agreement: By making a booking, you confirm that you have carefully read and understood the contents of the Tour Brochure/itinerary, the ‘Terms and Conditions,’ Price Grid, and other applicable documents, as these will form part of your contract with us.

Responsibility & No-Show Policy

• Personal Belongings: Leaving personal belongings (media equipment, wallets, or any other valuable items) in our vehicles or at tour sites is solely at your own responsibility. Our drivers and tour guides are not responsible for lost items.

• No-Show Policy: We reserve the right to charge 100% No Show charges if a guest does not arrive on time for pick-up.

• Missed Tour: If a guest does not show up on time and our vehicle departs, we will not arrange for alternative transfer, and no refund will be provided for the missed tour.

• Partially Used Services: There will be no refund for partly utilized services.

• Uncontrollable Circumstances: Due to factors outside our control (e.g., traffic, vehicle breakdowns, weather, delay by other guests), if the tour is delayed or cancelled, we will provide alternate options if possible.

Company Right to Modify & Cancel

• Tour Modification Authority: We reserve the complete right, at our sole discretion, to reschedule an itinerary, adjust the route, modify pricing, or even cancel a tour without prior notice. This decision is primarily made when deemed vital for the safety or convenience of our guests.

• Service Availability: Should a tour booking be cancelled or altered due to uncontrollable factors (such as bad weather, vehicle issues, or unexpected traffic problems), we will make every sincere effort to arrange an alternative service with similar options, subject to its availability.

• Non-Refundable Inclusions: Any portion of a tour package that is unused or partially utilized by the guest is non-refundable.

Pick-up and No-Show Policy (Strict)

• Punctuality is Required: Guests failing to be present at the designated pick-up point on time will be considered a “no-show.”

• No Reimbursement: We reserve the right to charge 100% No Show charges if a guest is not present on time. In such circumstances, no reimbursement or alternative transfer will be arranged for the missed tour.

• Departure Policy: If the guest does not show up on time and our vehicle departs from the pickup location, no refund will be provided for the missed tour, and we will not arrange for an alternative transfer.

• Estimated Timings: Pick-up and drop-off timings listed on the website are approximate. They will be adjusted based on your specific location and real-time traffic conditions.

What is the total duration of the Fossil Rock Desert Safari?

The full experience runs for approximately 7 hours. The journey typically starts with pick-up between 14:30 and 15:00 Hrs, and the drop-off time is approximately 21:00 Hrs. Camp activities conclude around 23:00 Hrs.

How long is the dune bashing segment, and what is unique about the location?

You will experience an extended 30 minutes of extreme dune bashing in a thrilling 4×4 ride. This takes place around the unique Fossil Rock formations and provides views of the famous Camel Rock, differentiating it from standard desert safaris.

What transportation is included in the price?

Pick-up and Drop-off by 4×4 vehicle are included in the price for locations anywhere within Dubai City Limits. Note that an extra charge of AED 150/- applies for pickups from specific outlying hotels (Lapita, J A Beach, Courtyard by Marriot, Ghaya Grand).

How many live shows are included in the cultural camp experience?

The cultural camp experience features a spectacular lineup of Six distinct Live Shows, including the Tanoura Show, Khaliji Dance, Fire Dance, and the captivating Belly Dance (Belly Dance is scheduled on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays).

Are quad biking, dune buggies, or alcohol included in the price?

No, Quad Biking/Dune Buggy rides and Alcohol are strictly excluded from this package. Shisha is included only in the common area of the campsite, while Shisha on the table (Hubbly Bubbly) is excluded.

Are there any safety restrictions for the dune drive?

Yes, for safety reasons, pregnant ladies and children below 3 years old will not be allowed on the dune drive. They can be dropped directly at the camp upon request.

What type of dining is offered during the evening?

The package includes Appetizers followed by a full Dinner with B.B.Q.. You will also be served traditional refreshments like Emirati coffee (Gahwa), Arabic sweets, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and water.

What is the cancellation policy for this safari?

The cancellation policy is tiered:

• 7 calendar days prior: 95% Refund.

• 5 – 7 days prior: 80% Refund.

• Within 96 hours (4 days) prior: 0% Refund.

What is the seating arrangement policy for the tour?

Tours are generally operated on a sharing basis. Seating arrangements for transfers are managed by our tour manager based on availability. Specific private arrangements must be requested in advance.

What is the recommended dress code?

Comfortable and light clothes are suitable for most of the year. However, it is advisable to bring warmer clothes or a jacket during the cooler Winter months. Sunglasses and a hat are also recommended.

• Instant Confirmation: You will receive your tour confirmation immediately at the time of booking.

Pickup & Safety Policies

• Designated Pickup Area: Complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are exclusively provided from hotels located in Abu Dhabi. Please wait in your hotel lobby for your scheduled transfer.

• Safety Recommendation: For your well-being, this tour is not recommended for:

  • Pregnant women.

  • Individuals suffering from backache or similar health concerns.

Seasonal Restrictions

• Ramadan / Dry Day Policy: In accordance with UAE Government guidelines, please note that no Live Entertainment or Alcoholic Beverages will be served during the Holy Month of Ramadan or on official Dry Days.
