• Ramadan & Religious Observances: During the Holy Month of Ramadan and on designated “Dry Days,” live entertainment and alcoholic beverages will not be available in accordance with UAE government regulations.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Operational Rights: VooTours reserves the absolute right to modify itineraries, adjust routes, update pricing, or cancel a tour at its sole discretion. These changes are primarily made to ensure the safety or convenience of our guests.

• Unused Services: Any inclusions within a tour package that are not utilized by the guest are strictly non-refundable.

• Punctuality & No-Show Policy: Guests must arrive at the designated pick-up point on time. Any guest who is not present at the scheduled time will be classified as a “No-Show.” In such cases, a 100% cancellation fee applies, and no reimbursement or alternative transportation will be provided.

• Departure Protocol: If a guest fails to show up on time and the vehicle departs the pick-up location, VooTours will not arrange alternative transfers or offer refunds for the missed experience.

• Unforeseen Circumstances: If a tour is altered or canceled due to extreme weather, mechanical issues, or traffic conditions, we will make every sincere effort to provide an alternative service of a similar nature, subject to availability.

• Seating Allocation: For all shared transfers, seating is allocated by the driver or tour guide based on availability. Specific seat requests are only guaranteed for Private Transfers.

• Timing Estimates: All pick-up and drop-off times listed on our website are approximate. Actual timings will be adjusted based on your specific hotel location and real-time traffic conditions.

• Promotional Codes: Coupon codes are valid only when redeemed through the official online booking process at the time of reservation.

How cold is it inside the Chillout Ice Lounge?

The lounge maintains a consistent temperature of -6 degrees Celsius (21°F) throughout the year to keep the ice sculptures and furniture intact.

Do I need to bring my own winter clothes?

No, we’ve got you covered! Your ticket includes the use of thermal gear, which consists of a heavy hooded parka (jacket), disposable woolen gloves, and shoes or socks if your own footwear isn’t suitable.

Is there an age limit for children or infants?

The lounge is family-friendly and open to all ages. Children under 4 years enter for free. However, due to the extreme cold, it is generally recommended that infants under 1 year old do not enter the lounge.

What is the “Buffer Zone” and why is it important?

 The buffer zone is a transition area set at 5°C. Spending a few minutes here allows your body to acclimate to the drop in temperature, preventing the “shock” of moving directly from the Dubai heat into sub-zero conditions.

How long can I stay inside the lounge?

While you are welcome to stay as long as you feel comfortable, most guests find that 45 to 60 minutes is the perfect amount of time to enjoy the sculptures and finish their drinks.

Is the welcome drink included in the ticket price?

Yes! Every guest receives a complimentary signature welcome drink—you can choose between our famous hot chocolate (highly recommended!) or a warm tea.

Can I take my own photos inside?

Absolutely. Guests are encouraged to take photos and videos of the stunning ice carvings and colorful LED interiors. Just be aware that phone batteries can drain faster in freezing temperatures!

Is the lounge accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, the Chillout Ice Lounge is wheelchair accessible. We recommend informing our staff in advance if you require any special assistance during the acclimatization process.

Are there food options available besides the welcome drink?

Yes, Chillout is unique for being the first ice lounge to serve hot food. You can purchase items like hot soups, sandwiches, and barbecues from the menu to help keep you warm from the inside out.

• Weather & Attire: Lightweight summer clothing is recommended year-round; however, we suggest bringing a jacket or sweater during the winter months. To stay protected from the sun, please bring high-quality sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat.
• Personal Responsibility: Guests are solely responsible for their personal belongings (media equipment, wallets, valuables). VooTours is not liable for items left in vehicles or at tour sites.
• Strollers & Private Travel: Strollers are not permitted inside tour vehicles unless requested in advance. Please notify us during booking to make arrangements. For a more tailored experience, private transportation can be organized for any tour upon request.
• Child Safety: For all water-based activities, children aged 3 to 12 years must be accompanied by an adult while in the water.
• Local Laws & Etiquette:
  • Photography: It is strictly prohibited to photograph UAE residents (particularly women), military sites, and government buildings.
  • Public Conduct: Smoking in public areas and littering are illegal and may result in heavy fines.
• Holiday Restrictions: During Islamic occasions, National holidays, and Ramadan, live entertainment and alcoholic beverages will not be available in compliance with government norms.
• Mandatory Documentation: Certain tours require your original Passport or Emirates ID. Please check your tour’s “Important Notes” carefully, as we cannot be held responsible for missed tours due to missing identification.
