Nationals from many European, North American, and Far East countries—including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and various EU nations—can obtain a visa upon arrival. Because the list of eligible countries is updated frequently, we recommend checking with your airline or local embassy before travel.

  3. Blacklisted Status: Any applicant on a blacklist or with a record of serious offenses in the UAE will be denied.
  4. Uncancelled Residency: Applicants who previously held a UAE residence visa but exited the country without official cancellation.
  5. Previous Unused Visas: If you previously applied for a tourist visa and did not enter the country, that visa must be officially cancelled before a new one can be issued.
  6. Poor Image Quality: Blurred or low-resolution passport copies/photos will lead to delays or rejection.
  7. Unskilled Profession: Applications listing professions such as “laborer,” “cultivator,” or other unskilled roles are frequently denied.
  8. Typing Errors: Any spelling or data entry errors in the application form.
  9. Job Visa Conflicts: Individuals who were previously issued a job visa but did not enter the country must wait six months before applying for a new visa.
  10. Identical Data: Processing may be delayed or eliminated if an applicant shares identical personal details (name, date of birth, etc.) with an existing individual in the system’s records.
