  • Bridge of Peace & Rike Park: Walk across the iconic glass bridge into the city’s modern heart.
  • Aerial Adventure: Ride the Cable Car up to Narikala Fortress for panoramic views of the city and the “Mother of Georgia” statue.
  • Sulfur Bath District: Descend into the historic Abanotubani district, famous for its domed brick bathhouses and the Legvtakhevi Waterfall.

Day 4: Farewell to the Caucasus

Georgia Entry & Visa Guidelines

1. Visa-Free Entry for UAE/GCC Residents

Residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including the United Arab Emirates, enjoy visa-free entry into Georgia.

• Duration of Stay: Up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
• Eligibility: You must hold a valid GCC residence permit that remains active on both the day you enter and the day you depart Georgia.

2. Mandatory Documents for Entry

Upon arrival, Georgian Immigration authorities may request the following. Please have printed or digital copies ready:

• Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date.
• GCC Residence Permit: Your physical or digital residency card (e.g., Emirates ID).
• Proof of Accommodation: Confirmed hotel reservations.
• Confirmed Return Flight: Evidence of your departure within the 90-day window.
• Travel Insurance: Mandatory for all travelers; coverage must span the entire duration of your stay.

3. Important Update for Specific Nationalities

As of May 16, 2025, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has tightened entry requirements for nationals of 17 specific countries:

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Yemen, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.

• New Requirement: Nationals from these countries are only eligible for visa-free entry if their GCC residence permit (or a multiple-entry visa from a GCC country) is valid for at least one full year at the time of entry.
• This regulation is strictly enforced to ensure compliance with updated border security measures.

4. Final Entry Conditions

While visa-free travel is permitted for the majority of UAE residents, the final decision to grant entry rests solely with the Georgian Immigration officer at the border. Ensuring you have all the required documents listed above will help facilitate a smooth arrival process.

• Check-in/Check-out Policy: Standard hotel timings apply. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to room availability upon arrival or departure and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
• Visa Responsibility: Visa issuance is at the sole discretion of the respective Government Ministry and Embassy. VooTours is not liable for visa rejections; any financial losses resulting from a denied visa will be the responsibility of the client.
• Flight Changes: In the event of airline cancellations or rescheduling (domestic or international), any additional expenses for accommodation or alternative travel must be covered by the traveler.
• Unused Services: No refunds or adjustments will be provided for any pre-booked services, tours, or transfers that are not utilized by the traveler at the scheduled time.
• Airlines & Seating: Seat allotment is not included in this package and is governed strictly by individual airline policies.
• Personal Property: Travelers are responsible for the safety of their own belongings. VooTours assumes no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items or baggage during the trip.
• Liability Disclaimer: VooTours acts as a facilitator and shall not be held liable for:
  • Personal injury, illness, accident, or death.
  • Theft, loss, or damage to baggage and personal effects.
  • Logistical irregularities or mechanical breakdowns.
  • Force Majeure events (extreme weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or other uncontrollable circumstances).
  • All costs arising from these situations must be borne by the passenger.
• Health & Covid-19 Policy: We are not responsible for any guest testing positive for Covid-19 during the tour. All costs related to medical care, hospitalization, quarantine, flight rescheduling, or emergency evacuation will be the customer’s responsibility.
• Regulatory Changes: VooTours is not liable for disruptions caused by sudden changes in government travel regulations or international border rules after the booking is confirmed.
• Third-Party Providers: As a tour operator, we do not exercise direct control over the operations of third-party service providers, including airlines, railways, coach companies, or shipping lines.

Arrival & Border Formalities

• Passport Control: You must possess a valid foreign passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining.
• Residency: Your UAE/GCC residency must be valid for the duration of your stay.
• Airport Meeting: Upon landing, please turn on your WhatsApp. After customs, look for our representative holding a VooTours sign in the arrivals hall. They will escort you to your private transfer.

• Time Zone: Tbilisi operates on GMT+4 (The same time as the UAE).
• Electricity: Georgia uses Plug Types C and F (two round pins). The standard voltage is 220V.
• Connectivity: The international dialing code is +995. Local SIM cards are widely available if you wish to avoid roaming charges.

• Local Currency: The Georgian Lari (GEL) is the only legal tender for goods and services. (1 USD ≈ 2.7 GEL).

• Smoking: Georgia enforces a strict ban on smoking in all indoor public places, including bars, restaurants, and offices.
• Retail Hours: Malls and entertainment centers typically operate from 10:00 to 22:00.
