Day 1: Welcome to the Pink City & Yerevan Discovery

• 11:20 | Arrival in Armenia: Touch down at Zvartnots International Airport (G9 244). Our friendly representative will meet you for a private transfer to the capital.
• Republic Square: Begin your journey at the heart of Yerevan. Marvel at the “pink tuff” architecture of the Government House, the National History Museum, and the iconic Singing Fountains.
• Northern Avenue & Opera House: Take a sophisticated stroll down Northern Avenue, the city’s modern pedestrian hub, leading to the grand Opera & Ballet Theatre and the tranquil Swan Lake.
• The Cascade Monument: Climb the massive limestone stairway of the Cascade for a bird’s-eye view of the city and Mount Ararat. This open-air museum is filled with contemporary sculptures and vibrant energy.
• Evening: Check into your hotel and enjoy your first night in the charming atmosphere of Yerevan.

Day 2: Ancient Temples, Cave Monasteries & Local Traditions

• Garni Pagan Temple: Step back into the 1st century at the only Hellenistic temple in the region. Dedicated to the Sun God Mithra, its towering stairs symbolize a journey toward the divine.
• Charents Arch: Stop at this picturesque stone archway for a “postcard-perfect” view of Mount Ararat, framed exactly as the great poet Charents once loved it.
• Geghard Monastery (UNESCO): Explore this 13th-century marvel partially carved directly into the mountain cliffs. Known as the “Monastery of the Spear,” its rock-cut chambers offer a mystical and spiritual ambiance.

Day 3: Alpine Adventures at Tsaghkadzor & Lake Sevan

• Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort: Head to the “Gorge of Flowers.” Ride the scenic ropeway up Mount Teghenis for breathtaking views of the alpine valley and the historic Kecharis Monastery.
• Lake Sevan (The Blue Pearl): Discover one of the world’s largest high-altitude freshwater lakes. Climb the stairs of the Sevan Peninsula to reach the 9th-century Sevanavank Monastery, where the “blue-eyed” lake meets the sky.
• Mountain Views: Capture stunning photos from the peninsula, offering panoramic views of the water and the surrounding snow-capped peaks.
• Overnight: Return to Yerevan for your final evening.

Day 4: Farewell to Armenia

Armenia Entry Requirements & Visa Guidelines

1. Indian & Filipino Nationals (UAE Residents)

Travelers holding Indian or Filipino passports have two convenient options for entering Armenia:

Option A: eVisa (Pre-Arrival)

• Best for: Travelers who prefer having their documents ready before departure to avoid airport queues.
• Processing Time: Typically 3 business days.
• Visa Fee: Approximately $9 USD (21-day single entry) or $31 USD (120-day multiple entry).
  • Note: Agency service charges and Invitation Letter fees are additional.
• Required Documents:
  • Passport (valid for 6+ months).
  • Copy of Passport biodata page & Emirates ID.
  • Recent passport-size photograph.
  • Travel Itinerary (Return flight tickets & Hotel confirmation).
  • Travel Insurance.
  • Proof of Funds (Recent bank statement).

Option B: Visa on Arrival (VoA)

• Eligibility: Indian and Filipino citizens with a valid UAE Residence Visa.
• Location: Available at Zvartnots International Airport (Yerevan) upon arrival.
• Required Documents:
  • Passport & Emirates ID (valid for 6+ months).
  • Confirmed Return Flight Ticket.
  • Proof of Hotel Accommodation.

2. Pakistani Nationals

Currently, Pakistani passport holders are required to apply for a physical visa through the Armenian Embassy or Consulate. eVisa and Visa on Arrival options are not available at this time.

• Processing Time: Approximately 10–15 business days.
• Visa Fees: Subject to consulate confirmation based on visa type.
• Required Documents:
  • Original Passport (valid for 6+ months) and biodata page copy.
  • Completed and signed Visa Application Form.
  • Recent passport-size photograph.
  • Full Travel Itinerary (Confirmed return flights & travel schedule).
  • Official Hotel Reservation or an Invitation Letter.
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds (Bank statements).
  • Comprehensive Travel Insurance.

Terms & Conditions

• Check-in & Check-out Policy: Hotel timings are subject to the property’s standard policy. Early check-in and late check-out requests are strictly subject to room availability upon arrival or departure and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
• Visa Approval & Responsibility: All visa applications are subject to approval by the relevant Ministry and are at the sole discretion of the respective embassy. Any financial losses or expenses resulting from a visa rejection are the responsibility of the traveler.
• Flight Cancellations & Scheduling: VooTours is not liable for the cancellation or rescheduling of domestic or international flights. Any additional costs incurred due to flight changes must be covered by the traveler.
• Unutilized Services: No refunds, credits, or adjustments will be provided for any pre-booked services, tours, or transfers that are not utilized by the traveler at the scheduled time.
• Airline Seat Allotment: Seat assignments are governed strictly by airline policies and are not included as a guaranteed part of this package.
• Safety of Personal Belongings: Travelers are solely responsible for the security of their personal items and baggage. VooTours assumes no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of property during the tour.
• Liability Disclaimer: VooTours acts as a facilitator and shall not be held responsible for:
  • Personal injury, illness, accident, or death.
  • Loss, theft, or damage to baggage and personal effects.
  • Irregularities or breakdowns in tour arrangements.
  • Force Majeure events, including extreme weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or other uncontrollable circumstances.
  • Any expenses arising from the above situations must be borne by the traveler.
• Health & Covid-19 Policy: The company is not liable for guests testing positive for Covid-19 during the trip. All related costs, including medical care, hospitalization, quarantine extensions, flight changes, or emergency evacuations, are the responsibility of the customer.
• Travel & Government Regulations: VooTours is not responsible for sudden changes in international travel laws or government mandates that may alter or disrupt the itinerary after a booking is confirmed.
• Third-Party Providers: As a tour operator, we do not exercise direct control over services provided by independent third parties, such as airlines, railways, coach companies, or shipping lines.

1. Entry & Arrival Procedures

• Passport Control: Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry.
• Seamless Airport Transfer: Upon arrival at Zvartnots International Airport and after clearing customs, please turn on your WhatsApp. Look for our representative holding a VooTours placard; they will escort you to your private transfer to the city.

2. Currency & Connectivity

• Money Matters: The national currency is the Armenian Dram (AMD). All retail transactions must be in Dram.
• Exchanges & ATMs: Currency exchange offices are abundant and accept USD, EUR, RUB, and GEL. No passport is required for exchange. ATMs are widely available, especially in Yerevan, and accept most international cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro).
• Staying Connected: Armenia’s country code is +374. We recommend ensuring your data roaming is active or purchasing a local SIM at the airport for easy navigation.

3. Weather & Packing

• March/April Climate: Spring is a beautiful time for walking. Afternoon temperatures in Yerevan average around +17°C.
• Layer Up: Mountain regions like Tsaghkadzor and Lake Sevan are significantly cooler (averaging +7°C), with temperatures potentially dropping below freezing at night. Pack a mix of light layers and a warm jacket for high-altitude excursions.
• Power Supply: Armenia uses Plug Types C and F (two round pins). The standard voltage is 220V/50Hz.

4. Cultural Etiquette & Dress Code

• Religious Sites: Armenia is home to ancient Orthodox churches and monasteries. To show respect, please adhere to a strict dress code:
  • Men: No shorts or sleeveless tops; shoulders and knees must be covered.
