Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and events purchased through VooTours Tourism, including services facilitated by our approved subcontractors for catering and transportation. By accessing our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. General Provisions

• Definitions: The terms “VooTours Tourism,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the company and its affiliated entities.

• Amendments: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any discretion and without prior notice. The most current version posted on our website supersedes all previous versions.

2. Food and Beverage Policy

• Halal Compliance: In strict accordance with UAE regulations, all food and beverages served are 100% Halal. No pork products are utilized in our catering.

• Outside Food: For safety and quality control, bringing outside food or beverages to any VooTours venue is strictly prohibited.

• Alcohol Consumption: Alcohol service is restricted to guests aged 21 and above. Valid government-issued identification must be presented upon request.

3. Dietary Restrictions and Medical Conditions

• Notification: Guests must disclose any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or medical conditions at the time of booking.

• Dietary Options: While we offer vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free alternatives, these must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the event.

• Liability: While we strive to accommodate all needs, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. For severe conditions, we reserve the right to advise against attendance for the guest’s safety or suggest they bring specialized meals.

4. Mobility and Medical Assistance

• First Aid: A First Aid-certified team member is present at every event. While emergency care may be facilitated, VooTours is not obligated to provide specialized medical services.

• Accessibility: Guests with mobility issues must inform us during the booking process. Depending on the activity and safety requirements, a private vehicle may be mandatory. We reserve the right to decline participation if a disability poses a safety risk that cannot be mitigated.

5. Safety Guidelines

• Risk Acknowledgment: Participation in all activities is voluntary. Guests assume full responsibility for following safety briefings and correctly using provided equipment (e.g., seat belts, life jackets, or harnesses).

• Compliance: VooTours is not liable for any injuries resulting from a guest’s failure to adhere to safety instructions.

• Vehicle Safety: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all vehicles. Furthermore, it is illegal to carry personal alcohol inside any tourist vehicle in the UAE. Violators will be returned to the pickup point immediately without a refund.

6. Payment and Cancellation Policy

• Payment: Full payment via credit card (Visa/MasterCard), electronic transfer, or cheque is required prior to the event. Failure to settle the balance will result in automatic booking cancellation.

• Cancellation Deadlines:

  • 48+ Hours Notice: Full refund / No fee.

  • Within 48 Hours: 100% cancellation fee (No refund).

• No-Shows: Failure to arrive at the scheduled time results in a 100% no-show charge.

• Insurance: We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen changes.

7. Personal Belongings and Media

• Personal Effects: Guests are solely responsible for their valuables. VooTours is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property.

• Media Usage: By participating, you grant VooTours Tourism a perpetual, royalty-free license to use any photos, videos, or recordings taken during the event for marketing and promotional purposes.

8. Liability Disclaimer and Governing Law

• Disclaimer: VooTours Tourism, its staff, and its affiliates are not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, damage, accident, or death occurring in connection with your booking or the event.

• Governing Law: All disputes arising from these terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

What is the difference between cruising Dubai Creek versus Dubai Marina?

The Dubai Creek cruise offers a more historic and cultural perspective. You will sail past the “Old Dubai” heritage sites like the Al Fahidi District and the Heritage Village, providing a glimpse into the city’s traditional roots alongside modern landmarks.

What is included in the “5-Star Gastronomy” buffet?

Our buffet is prepared by expert chefs and includes a wide variety of premium international dishes and authentic Arabian delicacies. We offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, fresh salads, and a selection of desserts.

What is the traditional Arabic welcome mentioned in the highlights?

We greet our guests with a VIP red-carpet entrance featuring a traditional rosewater hand cleansing, followed by a serving of authentic Arabic coffee (Gahwa) and premium dates.

 Is there a dress code for the dinner cruise?

The recommended dress code is Smart Casual. During the winter months, we suggest bringing a light pashmina, jacket, or sweater, as the open-air upper deck can get quite breezy and cool.

Are the dhows wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our dhows are designed to be accessible. We ask that you please notify us 24 hours in advance if you require wheelchair assistance so our team can ensure a smooth boarding experience for you.

Can I upgrade my package to include alcoholic beverages?

The standard ticket includes unlimited soft drinks and mineral water. However, an optional upgrade for house beverages is available on board for an additional fee, except during Islamic holidays and days of national mourning.

What time should I arrive at the boarding point?

The reporting time is 20:00 hrs (8:00 PM). The dhow departs promptly at 20:30 hrs (8:30 PM). Please ensure you are on time, as a 100% no-show charge applies if you miss the departure.

Do I need to bring my physical passport?

While you don’t necessarily need the physical document on the boat, it is highly recommended to have a digital copy of your ID or passport on your phone for verification purposes if needed.

What is the cancellation policy for this cruise?

 You can receive a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance (note that transfer fees may still apply). Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the cruise or no-shows are charged at 100%.

Is hotel pickup and drop-off included in the price?

The standard cruise price does not include transfers. However, hotel pick-up and drop-off can be arranged for an additional cost at the time of your booking.
