Transportation & Timing

• Seating Policy: Seating arrangements for all transfers are based on availability and will be allocated by our tour manager/driver.

• Flexible Timings: The pick-up and drop-off times listed are approximate. Actual transfer times may vary by 30 to 60 minutes due to traffic conditions, route scheduling, and your location.

• Private Transport: Private transportation arrangements can be organized for all tours upon request.

• Strollers: If you plan to bring a stroller, you must inform us at the time of reservation, as space inside the vehicles is limited.

Attire & Safety Advice

• Seasonal Clothing: While summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, please note that sweaters or jackets may be necessary during the winter months.

• Sun Safety: We strongly advise bringing good quality sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat when exposed to direct sunlight.

• Water Activity Supervision: For safety during any water activities, children aged 3 to 12 years must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Local Regulations & Conduct

• Holiday Restrictions: On Islamic occasions and National holidays, tours will not serve alcohol and there will be no live entertainment, in adherence to government guidelines.

• Inclusions Closure: We are not responsible if certain mentioned inclusions remain closed on weekends or specific days as dictated by government norms.

• Photography Rules: Photography of UAE residents (especially ladies), military institutions, government buildings, and installations is strictly prohibited.

• Conduct: Littering is a punishable offense and offenders may face penalties. Smoking is not allowed inside public areas.

Documentation & Contract

• Mandatory ID: Some tours require your original passport or Emirates ID. This is mentioned in the important notes for the specific tour; it is mandatory to read this information. We are not responsible if you miss a tour where valid ID is required.

• Contractual Agreement: By making a booking, you confirm that you have carefully read and understood the contents of the Tour Brochure/itinerary, the ‘Terms and Conditions,’ Price Grid, and other applicable documents, as these will form part of your contract with us.

Responsibility & No-Show Policy

• Personal Belongings: Leaving personal belongings (media equipment, wallets, or any other valuable items) in our vehicles or at tour sites is solely at your own responsibility. Our drivers and tour guides are not responsible for lost items.

• No-Show Policy: We reserve the right to charge 100% No Show charges if a guest does not arrive on time for pick-up.

• Missed Tour: If a guest does not show up on time and our vehicle departs, we will not arrange for alternative transfer, and no refund will be provided for the missed tour.

• Partially Used Services: There will be no refund for partly utilized services.

• Uncontrollable Circumstances: Due to factors outside our control (e.g., traffic, vehicle breakdowns, weather, delay by other guests), if the tour is delayed or cancelled, we will provide alternate options if possible.

Booking & Group Requirements

• Instant Confirmation: You will receive your tour confirmation immediately at the time of booking.

• Minimum Pax Policy: This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate. If you are a solo traveler (less than 2 Pax), we strongly advise you to contact us at info@vootours.com before booking to confirm tour availability for your date.

Pickup & Safety Policies

• Designated Pickup Area: Complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are exclusively provided from hotels located in Abu Dhabi. Please wait in your hotel lobby for your scheduled transfer.

• Safety Recommendation: For your well-being, this tour is not recommended for:

  • Pregnant women.

  • Individuals suffering from backache or similar health concerns.

Seasonal Restrictions

• Ramadan / Dry Day Policy: In accordance with UAE Government guidelines, please note that no Live Entertainment or Alcoholic Beverages will be served during the Holy Month of Ramadan or on official Dry Days.

1. What makes the Caravanserai Safari a “VIP” or luxury experience?

This safari is a VIP experience because it offers a unique historical theme (recreating an ancient rest stop) and includes premium dining: an International Buffet dinner catered by a 5-Star Hotel catering service, ensuring unmatched food quality.

2. What are the operating times and total duration of the Caravanserai Safari?

The tour runs daily from 15:00 (3:00 PM) to 21:00 (9:00 PM). The total duration of the experience, including travel time from your hotel, is approximately 6 hours.

3. Is dune bashing included, and where is the camp located?

Yes, thrilling dune bashing is included on the drive to the camp. The Caravanserai itself is located in a scenic desert setting between Dubai and Al Ain, differentiating it from standard safari camps.

4. What live entertainment is featured during the evening?

The evening features top-tier traditional entertainment, including the mesmerizing Tanura Dance, a daring Acrobatic Fire Show, and the captivating Belly Dance Show. (Note: Belly Dance is not available during Ramadan).

5. Are alcoholic drinks, shisha, or quad biking included in the package price?

No, the package is comprehensive but excludes Alcoholic Drinks, Shisha, Sandboard, Horse Ride, Quad Bike, and Buggy Rides. These high-adrenaline and premium add-ons are not part of the standard inclusion set.

6. What cultural activities are offered at the Caravanserai?

Guests can enjoy a variety of cultural experiences, including a traditional welcome with Bedouin coffee and dates, Camel Rides, Henna Painting (one small tattoo free), a majestic Falcon Display, and exploring the recreated Arabian Souq.

7. What is the policy for cancellation and receiving a refund?

You can receive a full refund if you cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the scheduled tour time (transfer charges may apply). Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior or a no-show will be charged 100%.

8. Is the tour available year-round?

Yes, the Caravanserai Safari operates daily (Sunday through Saturday) throughout the year.

9. What happens if the weather is poor on the day of the tour?

In the event of poor weather conditions or other external factors outside of our reasonable control, the activity may be cancelled at short notice. In such cases, the tour can be re-scheduled or a full refund will be processed.

10. Where does the complimentary pick-up service cover?

The complimentary pick-up service covers hotels located within Dubai city limits.
