What should I wear for this desert excursion?
We recommend lightweight, comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes, as you will be exploring 3 kilometers of trails. Don’t forget a hat, sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen to protect yourself from the desert sun.
Is it okay to touch or climb the fossil dunes?
To preserve these 4-million-year-old structures, guests are strictly prohibited from touching, climbing, or leaning on the dunes. They are very fragile, and the reserve is a protected conservation area.

Because the tour involves off-road driving sections and walking, it is not recommended for pregnant women or travelers with chronic back problems.
