• Abu Dhabi Transfers: Pick-up and drop-off services are exclusive to hotels within Abu Dhabi. Guests are requested to wait in their hotel lobby at the scheduled time.

• Health Advisory: For safety reasons, this tour is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals suffering from chronic back pain.

• Ramadan & Dry Days: In accordance with UAE government regulations, live entertainment and alcoholic beverages will not be available during the Holy Month of Ramadan or on designated “Dry Days.”

• Transportation & Seating: * Seating for all transfers is subject to availability and will be assigned by our Tour Manager.

  • Pick-up and drop-off timings are approximate and may vary by 30–60 minutes depending on traffic conditions and your hotel location.

  • Private transport can be arranged for any tour upon request for an additional fee.

• Preparation & Attire:

  • Dress Code: Lightweight summer clothing is ideal for most of the year. However, a jacket or sweater is recommended during the winter months (November – March).

  • Sun Protection: We highly recommend wearing high-quality sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat when in direct sunlight.

• Personal Belongings:

  • Valuables such as electronics, wallets, or cameras are the sole responsibility of the guest. VooTours and its staff are not liable for any items left in vehicles or at tour sites.

  • Strollers: Strollers are not permitted inside tour vehicles unless requested at the time of booking.

• Child Safety: Children aged 3 to 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times during water-based activities.

• Local Laws & Etiquette:

  • Photography: It is strictly prohibited to photograph UAE residents (especially women), military sites, or government buildings.

  • Public Conduct: Smoking in public areas and littering are punishable offenses and may result in heavy fines.

• Mandatory Documentation: Always review the “Important Notes” section of your tour. If an Original Passport or Emirates ID is required and not presented, you may be denied entry without a refund.

• Operational Policy:

  • Some inclusions may be closed on weekends or specific holidays per government mandates; VooTours is not responsible for such external closures.

  • In the event of uncontrollable delays (weather, traffic, or mechanical issues), we will offer alternative dates or options where possible.

• No-Show & Refund Policy:

  • A 100% no-show fee applies if a guest is not ready at the designated pick-up time.

  • Once the vehicle departs the pick-up location, no alternative transfers or refunds will be provided for the missed tour.

  • No refunds are issued for partially utilized services.

• Right to Modify: VooTours reserves the absolute right to reschedule itineraries, adjust routes, modify pricing, or cancel a tour at its sole discretion. These changes are typically made to ensure the safety, comfort, or convenience of our guests.
• Unused Inclusions: Any portion of a tour package or specific inclusion that remains unutilized by the guest is strictly non-refundable.
• Punctuality & No-Show Policy: * Guests must arrive at the designated pick-up point on time. Failure to do so will result in the guest being classified as a “No-Show.”
  • VooTours reserves the right to charge a 100% no-show fee in these instances.
  • If the vehicle departs because a guest is not present, no alternative transport will be arranged, and no reimbursement will be issued for the missed tour.
• Force Majeure & Service Disruptions: Should a tour be altered or canceled due to adverse weather, vehicle mechanical issues, or significant traffic delays, VooTours will make every sincere effort to provide an alternative service of a similar nature, subject to availability.
• Seating Policy: * For all shared transfers, seating is allocated by the driver or tour guide based on availability at the time of boarding.
  • Specific seat requests are not permitted except in the case of Private Transfers.
• Timing Accuracy: All pick-up and drop-off times listed on our website are approximate estimates. Actual timings will be adjusted according to your specific hotel location and real-time traffic conditions.
• Promotional Codes: Coupon and discount codes are only valid when redeemed through our official online booking process at the time of reservation.
• Contractual Agreement: By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms as part of your binding service contract with VooTours.

Do I need a driving license to ride the quad bike?

No, a driving license is not required. Our professional instructors will provide a safety briefing and show you how to operate the quad bike before your 30-minute session begins.

Is the quad bike experience safe for beginners?

Absolutely! The quad bikes are easy to handle, and we provide all necessary safety gear. For younger riders (aged 10–18), we provide smaller, specially sized quad bikes to ensure they can ride safely and comfortably.

What is the difference between quad biking and dune bashing?

Quad biking is a self-drive experience where you control the vehicle across the sands. Dune bashing is a thrilling passenger experience where a professional safari driver maneuvers a 4×4 vehicle across steep dunes at high speeds.

What should I wear for the evening desert safari?

We recommend lightweight, loose-fitting clothing for the daytime heat. However, the desert can get chilly after sunset, especially in winter (November–March), so please bring a warm jacket or sweater for the evening.

Are there vegetarian options available for the BBQ dinner?

Yes, our buffet dinner includes a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. If you have specific dietary requirements or allergies, please inform us at the time of booking.

Can children under 3 years old join the tour?

While children under 3 are welcome at the desert camp, they are strictly not allowed to participate in the high-intensity dune bashing session for safety reasons. Special arrangements for direct camp transfers can be made for an additional fee.

How many people share the 4×4 vehicle during the safari?

Our standard safaris are operated on a sharing basis, with a capacity of 6 guests plus 1 professional driver per vehicle. If you prefer a more exclusive experience, you can book a private vehicle.

Are there any health restrictions for this adventure?

Due to the bumpy nature of dune bashing and quad biking, this tour is not recommended for pregnant women, senior citizens with heart conditions, or individuals with pre-existing neck or back problems.

Does the price include pickup from any location in Dubai?

The standard price includes pickup and drop-off within Dubai City limits. Please note that an additional surcharge of AED 150 applies for pickups from outlying areas such as Jebel Ali, Lapita Resort, and the Green Community.

What is the best time to take photos during the safari?

The “Golden Hour”—just before sunset—is the best time for photography. We include a dedicated stop in the dunes specifically for you to capture the stunning desert sunset before heading to the camp.
