What should I wear for the experience?
You should wear comfortable athletic clothing. For safety reasons, skirts, dresses, and open-toed shoes (sandals or flip-flops) are strictly prohibited. Long hair must be tied back, and large jewelry should be removed.
Where is the meeting point?
The adventure begins at the Toroverde Ras Al Khaimah Welcome Center parking lot. It is located at the top of Jebel Jais mountain, approximately a 1-hour drive from Ras Al Khaimah city center or 2 hours from Dubai.
How early should I arrive?
You must arrive at the parking lot at least 30 minutes before your scheduled slot. This allows time for registration and the shuttle ride to the launch platform. If you miss the shuttle, it is considered a “No-Show.”
What happens if the weather is bad?
Since Jebel Jais is 1,680 meters above sea level, conditions can change. If the flight is canceled due to high winds or lightning, you will be notified and given the option to reschedule your flight to a different date.
Can I bring my own camera or GoPro?
For safety, you cannot hold a camera in your hand during the flight. However, you can use your own GoPro if you have a chest harness or a helmet mount that is compatible with the provided safety gear. Rental services are also often available on-site.
