Know Before You Book

Booking & Logistics

• Confirmation: Confirmation will generally be received at the time of booking. For bookings made subject to availability, confirmation will be received within 48 hours.
• Transfers: Pick-up and drop-off are provided exclusively from hotels within Abu Dhabi. Please wait in your hotel lobby for your scheduled transfer.
• Vehicle: Transfers utilize a shared 4×4 Land Cruiser, accommodating up to 6 guests per vehicle.

Health & Safety Guidelines

• Medical Conditions: The tour is not recommended for participants with heart complaints, other serious medical conditions, or for pregnant women.
• Young Children: The tour is not recommended for children below 4 years old. Child seats are not provided; children must sit on a parent’s lap.
• Accessibility: Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated, provided the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them with boarding and disembarking the vehicle.

Attire & Dietary Needs

• Clothing: Comfortable clothing is advised. We recommend wearing closed shoes and trousers if you plan to partake in activities like quad biking.
• Winter Wear: Warm clothing is recommended during the cooler winter period (October to March).
• Dietary: A vegetarian option is available. Please inform us of this requirement at the time of booking.

Local Regulations

• Ramadan/Dry Days: During the holy month of Ramadan or on other designated Dry Days, no live entertainment or alcoholic drinks will be served, as mandated by government guidelines. For detailed inquiries, please email us at info@vootours.com.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Operational Flexibility & Safety

• Right to Modify/Cancel: We reserve the complete right, at our sole discretion, to reschedule the itinerary or route, adjust pricing, or cancel a tour if we deem it necessary, primarily for your safety or convenience.
• Service Recovery: If a tour is cancelled or significantly altered due to uncontrollable factors (such as severe weather, vehicle issues, or traffic problems), we will make every effort to arrange an alternative service with similar options, contingent upon availability.

Transfers, Timing & Punctuality

• Timing: Pick-up and drop-off timings are approximate. They will be adjusted based on your location and real-time traffic conditions.
• Seating: Seating arrangements for all standard transfers are subject to availability and will be allocated by our driver or tour guide (this excludes private transfers).
• No-Show Policy: Any guest who fails to arrive on time at the designated pick-up point will be considered a No-Show. We reserve the right to charge a 100% No-Show fee in this event.
• Missed Transfer: If our vehicle departs due to the guest’s delay, we will not arrange alternative transfers, and no refund will be provided for the missed tour.

Financial and Booking Terms

• Refunds for Unused Services: Any unused inclusions or components within a booked tour package are non-refundable.
• Coupon Codes: Coupon Codes are valid for redemption only when processed through the online booking system.

1. Transfers and Scheduling

• Timing Flexibility: Pick-up and drop-off times are approximate and may be modified according to the trip schedule, traffic conditions, and your specific location. Actual transfer timing may vary up to 30 to 60 minutes from the time listed on the website.
• Seating: Seating arrangements for all standard transfers are assigned by the tour manager based on availability.
• Private Transport: Private transport can be organized upon request for all tours.
• Punctuality/No Show: We reserve the right to charge 100% No Show charges if a guest is not present on time for the pick-up. If the guest does not show up on time and our vehicle departs, we will not arrange an alternative transfer, and no refund will be provided for the missed tour.
• Delays & Cancellations: Due to uncontrollable circumstances (e.g., traffic, vehicle breakdowns, weather, delays by other guests), if the tour is delayed or cancelled, we will provide alternate options if possible.

1. Liability and Safety

• Personal Belongings: Leaving valuable personal belongings (media equipment, wallets, etc.) in our vehicles or at tour sites is solely at your own risk. Our drivers and guides are not responsible for lost items.
• Mandatory ID: Some tours require your original passport or Emirates ID. Please ensure you read the important notes, as we are not responsible if you miss a mandatory ID tour.
• Water Activities: Children aged 3 to 12 years must be accompanied by an adult in the water during any water activities.
• Strollers: Strollers are not allowed inside vehicles without prior notification; please inform us when making your reservation.

III. Operational & Refund Policies

• Unused Services: There will be no refund for services that are only partly utilized.
• Site Closures: Some inclusions may remain closed on weekends or specific days due to government norms. We do not hold responsibility for these closures.
• Cultural Observance: On Islamic occasions and National holidays, the tour will not serve alcohol and there will be no live entertainment.

1. Dress Code & Local Conduct

• Attire: Summer clothing is suitable most of the year, but a sweater or jacket may be needed during the winter months.
• Sun Protection: Good quality sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat are advisable when in direct sunlight.
• Photography Restrictions: Photography of UAE residents (especially ladies), military institutions, government buildings, and installations is strictly prohibited.
• Public Rules: Littering is a punishable offence (offenders may face penalties). Smoking inside public areas is not allowed.

• Contract: Please carefully read and understand the contents of the Tour Brochure/itinerary, the ‘Terms and Conditions’, Price Grid, and any other applicable documents, as all these will form part of your contract with us once you complete the booking.
